Collection: Eryn O'Neill

THE ARTIST

Eryn O’Neill holds a BFA from the NSCAD University in Halifax, NS (2008), and a MFA in conjunction with her thesis exhibition titled Restrictions of Routine at the University of Waterloo (2018). O’Neill recently completed her MA at Carleton with a completed graduate diploma in Curatorial Studies, and is a candidate for the Masters of Architecture at the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism at Carleton University beginning Fall of 2022.   

Eryn has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Toronto, Ottawa, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph, Hamilton, and Montreal. Her recent solo exhibition held at the City of Kitchener’s Rotunda Gallery, titled Desire Paths, in September 2019 was support by the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund. She has participated in numerous artist residencies, including the Vermont Studio Centre in March 2016, and the Golden Foundation Artist in Residence Program in March 2019.

She is a multiple Ontario Arts Council grant recipient, and a first-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Representational Painting Award (2019). In 2020, a collection of O’Neill’s Desire Path series were collected by Global Affairs.
