THE ARTIST

Kaitlin Johnson (b. 1981 Toronto, Canada) Currently lives and works in Oakville, ON. Kaitlin works in acrylics on canvas, creating dramatic abstract paintings that inspire joy. After completing her B.A. in Visual Arts from The University of Western Ontario, Kaitlin obtained her art teaching degree from the University of Wollongong in NSW, Australia. Kaitlin’s artistic practice focuses on teasing out the beauty and raw emotion of each inspiration, drawing on rhythms and unique combinations of colour gathered through
travel, nature, and anything else that catches her eye.
