Wall Space Gallery is proud to present an exhibition by The Blue Barn Group featuring founding artists of the Ottawa art scene with a collection of art ranging from early 1960s to late 1970s.
The Blue Barn Gallery operated from 1962-1967 and represented several Ottawa artists. Those involved were a catalyst for the creation and promotion of the artistic community in Ottawa which influenced the local, regional and national artistic scene. Artists’ Gerald Trottier, James Boyd, Victor Tolgesy, George de Niverville, and Duncan de Kergommeaux were great friends and had significant artistic bonds in which they had a common spirit to create, educate, and to effect change.
