Born and raised in Toronto, urban and industrial landscapes have long been a subject of intrigue for Ian Busher. In his mixed-media works, rough, industrial textures are juxtaposed with glossy finishes, photography with painterly intervention. Busher is a professional carpenter with a formal education in painting from OCAD, whose works can be found in private and corporate collections.
