Learn how to sculpt your very own wire animal with artist Patti Normand!
In her practice, Normand creates whimsical figures and worlds through dioramas and free-standing figurative sculptures. Interwoven with dark humour, she touches on topics of human-nature relationships in our ever-changing world. Normand's work is part of the concurrent sculpture exhibition Physical Presence, taking place at the gallery from July 13 - 27.
This workshop will walk you through the process of using wire to create an armature figure of your own chosen animal. There are 20 spots available!
When: Thursday, July 25 from 4 - 7 pm
Where: Wall Space Gallery, 1090 Bank St. at Sunnyside
Tickets: $95/person (20 spots available). Ticket sales will go live on July 4, and will be purchasable through this page.
Materials: All materials required for the workshop will be provided at the event. Just bring yourself!
